The SIOP Model
When I was studying TESOL at university, we were taught the SIOP model as our our main lesson plan. SIOP stands for The Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) Model which is a research-based and validated instructional model that has proven effective in addressing the academic needs of English learners throughout the United States. It is believed that the SIOP model is the most effective way to teach English learners.
SIOP for Pre K and Kindergarten

Used for the middle school students but you can change it around a bit for the high school or university student

Why use Lesson Plan Templates?
Teachers have used a number of different lesson plan templates for teaching over the years. Finding the one that works best for you and your students will make learning more productive. I still remember when microfiche was used with projectors when I was growing up!
