The other day a friend of mine in Korea informed me that she wants to visit Sri Lanka in April for 2 weeks. Of course I was very excited to hear this, but then she told me that a travel agency she was thinking about going through wanted to charge her US$7,000 for 2 weeks! This is very high for Sri Lanka and I did not even pay this much to travel to Antarctica. I have come up with some questions you should be asking yourself to help you plan your next vacation.  Once you have answered these questions, you can begin to start planning your trip.    It is always a good idea to research the country before you go.  Head to your local library, Google search blogs, and/or buy a guide-book.  Have another tip?  Please comment below.

  1. How much vacation time do you have?
  2. Where do you want to go?
  3. How much can you spend?
  4. Are you willing to rough it or do you insist in all the luxuries?
