Reputable Travel Agencies
I have sparked a discussion on Facebook about legit travel agencies. Generally when I travel, I just book the flight ahead of time and then kinda backpack my way around the country with a travel book. I usually do not book anything ahead. I really hate to see people spend money and not get what they expected. I have decided to come up with a reputable travel agency list. For now it will be from my personal experiences where I have used them first hand or chatted with them at least a few times. If you have a travel agency you like, please post them here. Here is mine for Sri Lanka:
Dream Travel. I have communicated with these people via email
Official Tourism Site for Sri Lanka. I communicated with them via email and they were very helpful. I met them in person in Colombo and they have a lot of maps and brochures for things to do in Sri Lanka.
Rechie. Discovered this guy at the tourism desk at Fort Railway Station in Colombo. He can be your personal guide for the duration of your trip. He can drive you around and tell you about the sites all in impeccable English.
Sri Lanka Trip Adviser. These guys found me on LinkedIn and seem to be legit as well. They also have guides who speak Korean as well as many other languages.
