If you are into elephants, Minneriya National Park is one of the best places to see large groups of elephants. In fact it is nick named “elephant gathering”. This park is located in the driest part of Sri Lanka and in the north central providence. If you happen to be in the Polonnaruwa area and love elephants, Minneriya National Park is the place to be. You must rent a special jeep with a driver, pay the entrance fee, and off you are on your way.
